Expansion of the library of the University of Crete

 

The expansion of the library began in early 2021 and concerns its development at four levels. Its new section is going to harmonize with the architectural character of the original building, to improve its functionality and to take full advantage of the natural lighting but also the unique view of the sea and the city of Rethymnon. The extension is expected to consist of 3,120 m3 of reinforced concrete and will be a focal point of the Gallou campus.
