Heraklion - General Hospital "Venizelio"

It is worth mentioning that during the work, a Roman burial monument was discovered, whose removal and transportation was an extraordinary complicated procedure.

In collaboration with the specialized staff of SLM services and under the supervision of the Archaeological Service’s competent, the process completed successfully.

The archaeological monument is exposed in the courtyard of the hospital.
